The Middlesex London health Unit has opened the doors of their H1N1 clinics to the general public.

Yesterday officials said the general public would be eligible to receive the vaccination beginning Friday but  plans changed this afternoon after the Ministry of Health announced it would make the vaccine available to all as of tomorrow.

Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Graham Pollet,  tells Newstalk 1290 an increased supply of the vaccine made the expansion possible.

Clinics are being held today at Clarke Road Secondary, White Oaks Public School, Greek Canadian Community Centre and Mother Teresa Secondary.

They run until 8:30 tonight

But Dr. Pollet reassures that there will be lots of opportunity for people to get the shot in the coming days and is asking people to consider attending clinics later this week to keep line ups manageable .
