Boler Mountain Operations Manager, Marty Thoudie

There's good news today for skiers in the area.

One local ski hill is open and another is opening tonight.

Cobble Hills opens at 6 oclock tonight while Boler Mountain opened yesterday.

Operations Manager at Boler, Marty Thoudie, tells Newstalk 1290, they've been making snow  for days.

Thoudie says because of the mild weather we've been seeing, its been a struggle for ski hills to open,  so he's glad the time has come.
