Local teacher accused of sexually assaulting students

A teacher with the Thames Valley Public School Board is now facing charges, accused of sexually assaulting students. The charges against 39 year old Darren Leroy Blew of St Thomas stem from a month-long investigation by Elgin OPP. Police say both current and former students of Southwold Public School claim they were inappropriately touched by Blew. He's charged with assault, sexual assault, sexual interference with a minor, and sexual exploitation.
